As field philosophy is gaining greater attention in the current academic world, one issue is kept ignored : does it have something to do with feminist epistemologies ? It seems strange that field philosophers stay silent about this critical heritage. Why is it so ? Is there only a bridge waiting for being revealed, or are there deeper reasons lying under the missing dialogue between the two ? In this article, we propose to tackle this problem. Although field philosophers share a number of preoccupations with feminist epistemologies, the bulk of researchers are still working within a paradigm that we will qualify as not feminist. This is why we think it important to rebuild field philosophy in a feminist way.
